Health apparently is still a priority for a fashionista like Victoria Adams. Although towering heels has long been her signature, the wife of David Beckham has chosen to listen to her doctors’ advice for her to ditch high heels as she recovers from a slipped disc in her lower back.

A little over a month after giving birth to fourth child Harper Seven in July, the former member of Spice Girls was photographed stepping out with a pair of flat shoes. Out for a business meeting in Los Angeles, she wore a plain green dress that she paired with a black cardigan and hid her eyes behind big sunglasses.

The Daily Mail reported earlier that Victoria suffered from the slipped disc while pregnant with her first daughter. Accordingly, the singer-turned-fashion designer is in such pain that she struggled to even lift Harper and needed husband David to help her hold the baby while she is breastfeeding.

A spokesman confirmed that Victoria is recovering from a back problem. “Victoria has a back condition. She is resting and receiving treatment,” so the rep said. Victoria herself took to Twitter on Friday, August 19 to say, “Thank u for your kind messages. I’m feeling much better and enjoying every precious minute with baby Harper, I’m so in love.”

She has been resting at a home on Malibu beach, California, which used to belong to film director Steven Spielberg. Joining her there were husband David and their three sons, 12-year-old Brooklyn, 8-year-old Romeo and 6-year-old Cruz. She is expected to fly to New York next month to attend New York Fashion Week, where she will showcase her Spring/Summer 2012 collection.

Victoria Beckham is reported to be having a hard time feeding baby Harper Seven, though dad David Beckham was thrilled to help feed the baby for the first time!

Victoria has been breastfeeding baby Harper since she was born in July, and it was widely reported that the star has stayed at home since the birth so she could lose the baby weight fast, before the New York fashion show.

It appears that reality is much different, however, and Posh Spice was actually staying at home to look after her newborn, and nurse her bad back! Victoria suffered a slipped disc during the C-section, leaving her in a great deal of pain when she needs to prop up the baby when breastfeeding.

Her injury is making holding her newborn baby girl difficult, and means she requires a lot of help from husband David – who has been often seen out and about with the couple’s sons, enjoying the Summer.

Now Victoria is starting to pump milk, to relieve some of her pain, and to allow David to experience feeding his baby girl with bottled breastmilk.

A source close to the couple revealed; “Victoria is in a lot of pain and is even struggling to hold Harper. Victoria is trying to remain upbeat because she really does feel blessed with the birth of her beautiful daughter. She is determined not to let this injury overshadow the happiness surrounding Harper’s arrival.”

David spoke to People magazine about feeding his baby, saying; “It’s important that they have that mother-daughter bond and breastfeeding, I think, is really an incredible thing. We’re in the process of putting bottles in now, so that means I get to feed her – which has been amazing.”

The family has always been close knit, with the parents regularly spotted out with their children – Gordon Ramsey was recently spotted looking after the Beckham boys while dad trained with LA Galaxy, and they are often seen with Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, and the adorable Suri Cruise!

David revealed that Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8 and Cruz, 6, are all smitten with their sister, and the whole family is very grounded.

“It’s just the way (Victoria and I) were bought up as kids, it’s the way we are bringing our kids up. We make sure that the most important thing to us is our family and we’re all grounded. No matter what goes on around us, no matter what the situation is, we come together as a family and we deal with it.”

Hollywood friends are forever commenting on how well behaved the Beckham boys are, and with Brooklyn already following his Dad into best dressed lists, the family mentality certainly seems to work well for the Beckhams – and they are one of the most successful celebrity marriages. Harper is sure to challenge Suri for her ‘most fashionable celebrity child’ title too – her outfits are sure to be worth waiting for!

Fashionista Victoria Beckham has chosen to wear one of her own designs to tomorrow’s Royal Wedding, according to reports.

While the speculation surrounding Kate Middleton’s dress builds, it has been revealed that Victoria, 37, is to attend Westminster Abbey dressed in an outfit from her Autumn/Winter 2011 collection.

The singer-turned-fashion designer will team her dress with a pair of Christian Louboutins that have been specially customised, and a Philip Treacy hat.

According to British newspaper the Daily Mail, sources close to the pregnant former Spice Girl have suggested that she drew personal experience to create a wedding look that will flatter her figure.

Although the precise details of Beckham’s dress are not yet known, her husband David, 35, will wear a Ralph Lauren suit.

The Prime Minister’s wife Samantha Cameron, 40, is rumoured to be wearing an outfit by British designer Christopher Kane.

With less than 24 hours to go before Prince William and Kate Middleton get married, David Beckham and his family have been spotted arriving at LAX to catch a flight to the UK.

David and Victoria, who have been one of the few lucky celebrities that will be able to see the moment Kate walks down the aisle and exchange vows with William, have previously revealed at how “very proud” they were about attending.

Speaking about how excited she was to attend the wedding, the Metro reports Victoria revealing in a previous interview:

“I think we’re both going to be there and were very, very excited. We’re very proud to be English and we’re incredibly excited about this.”

David added on his Facebook page: “I think a royal wedding, it’s amazing. It really is amazing. Our country needs it. Our country wants it. The British public love the Royal Family. I was brought up around the Royal Family and around loving the Royal Family with my granddad, with my nan.

The pregnant fashion designer and her soccer star husband David Beckham will attend the nuptials of Britain’s Prince William and his fiancée Kate Middleton at London’s Westminster Abbey on Friday. The Spice Girls have reunited to design a special T-shirt for a children’s charity.

The Wannabe hitmakers teamed up with the Hard Rock Cafe for the Spice Girls Artist Spotlight shirt, which features drawings of butterflies and each band member’s signature.

Proceeds from the sale of the shirts will benefit Chickenshed, a U.K. theatre company which provides education courses for young people – and it’s a cause close to singer Melanie Brown’s heart.

She says, “Chickenshed offer such an amazing range of performing arts courses and give so many young people a direction and passion for theatre, which they will keep for the rest of their lives.

“As a mum I know how important it is to give kids the best possible start in life and, for that reason, this is an amazing cause that I’m proud to be a part of as it gives so many disadvantaged children a chance to change their lives for the better.”

The secret behind six-months-pregnant Victoria Beckham’s sylph-like figure can be revealed — regular sessions with Hollywood body stylist Rachel Zoe.

Rachel has been popping round to 36-year-old Victoria’s Beverly Hills home to guide her through her pregnancy, and her advice seems to be paying off, as there are few visible signs that a baby Beckham is on the way.

Rachel, 39, rose to fame in Hollywood by styling ultra-slim celebrities Nicole Richie and Keira Knightley, and she leads by example when it comes to pregnancy.

“Rachel had her first baby, Skylar, on March 23 and gained hardly any extra weight,” says a friend of hers. “She has a reputation for helping her Hollywood friends maintain their size-zero frames, and thinks of herself as quite an expert when it comes to keeping trim and healthy during pregnancy. Victoria has been eagerly listening to her advice and they have become firm friends.” However, despite the healthy eating, Victoria’s hormones are wreaking havoc and, as is the case with many pregnant women, she is suffering mood swings.

“Victoria is constantly snapping and berating David and her staff over the smallest things,” says an insider. “But, endearingly, she calls up a couple of hours after exploding to say sorry. It’s happened so many times now, people understand it’s just the hormones.”

A spokesman for Victoria said, “Victoria has known Rachel for a long time — I am not aware of the other issue.”
