Victoria Beckham was amazed when she saw Madonna wearing one of her dresses, adding she has received ‘fantastic support’ from the industry since becoming a designer. Victoria Beckhamwas ‘overwhelmed’ when Madonna wore one of her designs.The singer-turned-designer was overcome with emotion when she saw the 50-year-old had chosen to wear one of her high-end dresses to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party last February.Victoria explained: ‘It’s just phenomenal! I actually didn’t know Madonna was going to wear my dress, I hadn’t sent it to her – she picked it herself and when I saw the picture in a magazine I was overwhelmed. For her to wear one of my designs – wow. She looked so amazing in it.’The party is not the only time Madonna has donned a dress from Victoria’s range.She sported a tight-fitting frock from the line when she took part in a photoshoot for America’s W magazine, during she which she met her current boyfriend Brazilian model Jesus Luz.Victoria, 35, is delighted with the feedback she has received on her clothing line – her latest collection of dresses won rave reviews from industry professionals when she debuted them at New York Fashion Week earlier this year – but says her success is all down to hard work.She told Britain’s Hello! magazine: ‘I love what I do with the clothes – it has always been a dream of mine. I’ve had support from the fashion industry which has been fantastic, and lots of really great people have helped me along the way. All in all it’s been mind-blowing.’
