Football ace David Beckham and Posh Spice have a new star in their house now. Their youngest son Cruz Beckham has landed an unofficial T-shirt deal through an unusual incident.

	It must say that Worn Free scored a goal of their own with the Beckhams.

Victoria Beckham was very much impressed by the cloth’s style designed by the Worn Free kids T-shirts. She dressed Cruz in one for a spring day at the park. Someone from Worn Free T-shirts spotted pictures of the kid at Coldwater Canyon Park in their vintage Flying Burrito Brothers T-shirt. Soon, bosses of trendy T-shirt first Worn Free have sent the tot a bundle of vintage tops.

The package included t-shirts for Cruz’s brothers-Brooklyn and Romeo- could wear Worn Free all summer.

It must say that Worn Free scored a goal of their own with the Beckhams, it really demonstrates the strength of the brand.

Victoria Beckham’s turned into Sporty Spice.

She’s taken up running and pounds the treadmill an impressive five times a week. And now pals Gordon and Tana Ramsay want her to compete in next year’s London marathon.

Tana, who finished Sunday’s race in four hours 34 minutes, tells us: “Victoria and David rang last week to wish us luck for the marathon. She is running every single day, Monday to Friday, and loving it. She looks incredible too.

“We’re trying to convince Victoria to join us in a marathon so we’ll see. She’s promised to think about!”

She is famed for keeping her whippet-thin body in shape by nibbling on edamame beans washed down with spinach shakes.

But now Victoria Beckham – who once proclaimed that she ‘hates working out’ – has signed up for a programme of exercise classes in the hope they will boost her pelvic muscles.

Posh has joined Hollywood’s ultra-exclusive The Sports Club LA, a private members’ gym that costs £1,500 a year – plus a £250 monthly fee.

An insider at the gym told The Mail on Sunday that the mother of three, who turned 35 on Friday, has enrolled in private Pilates classes, which promise to strengthen and tone core stomach and back muscles – and boost pelvic strength.

The source said: ‘Victoria has signed up for private Pilates classes. She comes into the gym at least three times a week and her husband David joins her for Pilates when he’s in town.

‘Pilates is specifically aimed at building up the core muscles and is particularly good for women who want to strengthen their body.

‘It is excellent for toning up muscles in the stomach area that have been weakened by childbirth. It is also superb for toning the pelvic muscles.

‘Stretching and thrusting those pelvic muscles is absolutely key to this form of exercise. Victoria and David joined the gym together.

‘They signed up for private Pilates classes and the trainer outlined the types of stretches. They were both in a fit of giggles about the pelvic muscle exercises.

‘David was teasing Victoria about it and she was joking about how firm she was going to be in places she didn’t even know she had muscles.’

Pencil-thin Victoria was teased two years ago after she wore platform-heeled trainers to throw the first pitch at a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game.

At the time she swore she would not embrace the Hollywood gym culture, saying: ‘I really don’t like the gym. In fact, I can’t stand it. I hate working out. Maybe it’s the whole getting sweaty thing but it’s just not me.’

Stars including Justin Timberlake, Jessica Alba, Jake Gyllenhaal, Katie Holmes, Britney Spears and golfer Tiger Woods attend the gym, which is in the heart of Beverly Hills and less than a five-minute drive from the Beckhams’ £18million home.

It is so upmarket that clients are offered an overnight laundry service to clean and press their sweaty gym gear.

The source added: ‘Victoria is actually in great shape these days. She is slim but has muscles in the right places. You see her doing cardio on the treadmill and other machines to warm up for her Pilates classes.’

Sometimes it’s the little things that make reading the gossip magazines a tolerable experience.

Every week, gluttons for punishment that we are, the seemingly perfect lives of apparently flawless men and women are hotly perused for diversion.

The pictures painted, of course, are about as real as the late Anna Nicole Smith’s inflated chest orbs.

What keeps us going back is the possibility of shortcomings. Of cracks and flaws in the polished faces and cash-buffed lives of celebrity types.

Superficially, this means relationship break-ups or once-lithe bodies swelling hideously to normal proportions. But there are other, more subtle crimes against so-called perfection that give tattle-rag readers cause for brief solace.

This week it is Mischa Barton in Grazia. The actress and fashion plate wears a pair of cropped and belted paisley-patterned fisherman’s pants, an oversize flannelette plaid shirt and a pair of shoes that resemble a telephone’s innards reworked by a sugar-fuelled toddler with scissors.

If this is high fashion, we can all heave a huge sigh of relief. Nothing we concoct will ever look worse than this.

Happy news also comes from the likes of Beyonce, Fergie (the singer not the royal), Sienna Miller, Gwyneth Paltrow and Victoria Beckham (though when does Posh’s life not provide some form of enjoyable astonishment?) Grazia has pounced on what it calls a “Mini Trend” but what many sane and seasoned readers may designate an utter horror. Shoulder pads. Not that Grazia uses the word. The abominations hovering above these style mavens’ slender arms are simply labelled “shoulders”. Pad is right out. As is style, when each outfit’s coathanger-still-caught-inside-the-garment effect is considered. Beckham, in a black leather jacket by French design house Balmain, has shoulder swellings that inspire thoughts of unnatural water retention, or illegal tennis-ball smuggling. While Gwyneth Paltrow, fresh-faced in a short dress, remains unaware her arms are pushing heavenward to escape their owner’s desperate fashion blindness.

Victoria Beckham enjoyed an intimate birthday meal with Eva Longoria, Katie Holmes, Jennifer Lopez, Nicole Richie and Kate Beckinsale.

The former Spice Girls singer turns 35 today (17.04.09) but had an early celebration with her friends at Los Angeles restaurant Cecconi’s on Wednesday (15.04.09).

A source told gossip website X17: “They all arrived at around 9.30pm and left at around 1.20am – a long dinner. They were seated at a huge table on the outside terrace. They all looked gorgeous and happy to be there celebrating their friend’s birthday. They ate, drank, and sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to her.”

The eatery is an off-shoot of London Cecconi’s and is renowned for its delicious food at reasonable prices – a three-course meal including wine costs around 80. The group ate gnocchi and swordfish washed down with Moet champagne.

The mother-of-three decided to celebrate with her friends early as she is planning to spend her special day with family. Although her soccer star husband David Beckham will be away in Italy – where he is currently on loan to AC Milan – he organised a romantic meal for his wife while she was visiting him last week.

Victoria’s girls’ night out marked the first time Katie has been seen in public since her brother-in-law died unexpectedly of heart failure. Joseph Jeffrey Fretti, 48 – the husband of Katie’s older sister Tamera – was found by family members in his mother’s Florida home on Sunday (12.04.09).

Considering she was heading out to celebrate her upcoming 35th birthday, Victoria Beckham doesn’t exactly look overjoyed.

The 34-year-old mother of three was joined by a powerhouse Hollywood trio of Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria Parker, 34, singer and actress Jennifer Lopez, 39, and Mrs Cruise, Katie Holmes, 30, for a celebratory dinner at Hollywood eaterie Cecconi’s.But she looked rather pensive as she sat in the back of personalised luxury car en route to the LA branch of the London restaurant.Putting paid to rumours of a rift between the women, Katie Holmes was a guest at the intimate dinner arranged to celebrate Victoria’s 35th birthday.And surprisingly for the millionaire wife of footballer David Beckham chose celebrity favourite Cecconi’s – an import from London -  praised for its fine food, and reasonable prices.One diner put the cost of  three-course dinner for two, including a bottle of wine at just over £80.Victoria’s birthday is on April 17th and she plans to spend the day with her family who will be with her in Los Angeles.Unfortunately for Posh, which might explain the long face, husband David, currently attached to team AC Milan will not be there.The couple have already celebrated privately after Beckham organised a surprise romantic dinner in Milan when Victoria visited last weekend.Friends of the Beckhams say the AC Milan player has already made up for his absence by arranging a present for his wife during their meal for two, hours before she returned home with their boys to LA.

Meanwhile, Katie’s family has been hit by tragedy.

The actress’s older sister Tamera, 41, has been widowed after her husband Joseph Fretti, 48, died on Easter Sunday.

Katie’s brother-in-law was visiting his elderly mother in Florida when he suffered suspected heart failure, RadarOnline.com reported.

Katie is expected to return to her hometown of Toledo, Ohio for the funeral on Monday
